About the owner, Lyn Toomey
My name is Lyn Toomey and I started my consulting business after working as a full-time employee for 25 years. After multiple layoffs - working for three banks and two technology companies in six years - I came to understand that I possessed enough knowledge & skill to offer my services on a consulting and contracting basis. Now my work is focused on helping businesses complete their marketing goals. And as an added bonus, I help people and make a difference in my community.
I also co-own a landscaping firm "SpeedSeed Hydroseed & Landscape" along with my spouse, where I've gained a thorough background in owning and marketing a business. I have a deep understanding of the pressures of running a business and how getting more done every day is essential to generating revenue. As a result I am proficient at QuickBooks Pro and other back-office tasks.
I am well-acquainted with the concepts of "juggling acts" and "wearing many hats" that small business owners face. I worked full-time as an employee for a technology company while also running the SpeedSeed business and parenting two school-age daughters.
My 27 year career has been predominantly in marketing, administration and business management. This background coupled with my business ownership experience gives me the unique skills you need in your business partner as we work together to achieve your goals.
